Private Music Training
One to One Private Music Tutoring in Stranraer and Online
All three of our degree- educated Music Tutors offer one to one music training. Our lessons are either 30 minutes, 45 minutes or one hour. If you're not sure how much time you need we can recommend a lesson length.

Baby Sensory Music Class
With a different theme each week, baby class is a great place to bond with your baby and make new friends. You can expect songs, poems, stories, baby massage and activities that stimulate the senses of your little one.
We like to look after our parents too so there's tea and coffee too. Classes take place in our Town Centre Studio and you can expect and warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
Classes are on Mondays at 11:15am and cost £8.
Toddler Music Class
With a different theme each week, Toddler Music Classes are full of fun, games and of course, music! We have songs, dancing, sensory activities and often a story or two. We also have themed dress up parties with special music at Easter, Halloween and Christmas! Classes take place at our Town Centre Studio.
We want parents and caregivers to relax and enjoy themselves too so we have tea and coffee and social time!
Classes are on Mondays at 10am and cost £8.
Musical Theatre
Our super popular Musical Theatre classes are the perfect starting point for any child that loves to sing or has any general interested in music. With musical games, basic music reading and group singing it's the ideal place for kids to begin learning about how music works.
Classes take place at our Town Centre Studio and is suitable for those with no musical training who are complete beginners or those who have already started learning an instrument.
We have two classes:
Ages 4-6 Mondays at 17:15- 18:00. This class costs £10.
Ages 7+ Mondays at 18:00- 19:00. This class costs £12.
Music Theory Classes
Music Theory is an essential part of the learning process. It covers everything that is needed to be able to read and understand music. We teach it alongside practical lessons to enable our pupils to progress at a better rate.
We teach Beginner Theory from a workbook developed my Lighthouse Lead Tutor and Founder, Flora Irving. After this has been completed, we teach Associated Board for the Royal Schools of Music Theory from Grade 1 up to Grade 5.
Our classes are:
Junior Theory Class Mondays at 19:00 £5
Grade One Theory Class Monday at 16:30- 17:15 £8
Grade One Plus Class Monday at 19:45- 20:30 £8
